Those days.
Isn't it awesome that God's mercies are new every morning? Yes, there are consequences for our actions. We may need to apologize, repent, or exercise a little harder. But making poor choices is a part of life. And because of them, we are able to learn, grow, and change.
So straighten your shoulders, take a deep breath, and give yourself a break.
As Joyce Meyer says: "Frustration, complication, and misery are available in abundance. But so is God's grace."
Phrase to meditate on: TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY.
"The faithful love of the Lord never ends. His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning." - Lamentations 3:22, 23
Lynda, I am currently 'digging' in Psalms 25 and verse 7 should be what I stick on my forehead:
ReplyDelete'Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to your mercy remember me for Your goodness sake, O LORD.'
Can I hear an Amen! :) So thankful that He sees me through his mercy!
Thanks for this candid post We women need to be reminded-daily-to lighten up on ourselves.
You're absolutely right, Lori. Actually, I had that verse in mind for another week. Our past definitely has a way of holding us back. Thank God for His mercy and grace. :-)
